This violin was appraised by Benjamin Lloyd Violins in 2005 at a value of $15,000
Description (as quoted from the Certificate of Origin):
- The back is from 2 pieces of maple of medium to broad flames ascending from treble to bass flanks
- The sides are from generally similar maple
- The scroll is from similar maple
- The top is from 2 pieces of spruce of medium to broad grain
- The varnish has a golden orange color
