Oud, Egyptian Classic, 3 Rosette 12 String w Case(Item Code: OUDX-K) The rosettes of the three Round sound holes are rimmed with colored wood inlays. There is bracing under the soundboard. The soundboard is finished and the bridge is fixed. The dark wood body is made with stave construction and has the classic teardrop shape. There are twelve ebony pegs and twelve strings in six courses of two each six nylon, and six metal (silver) wound. Includes pick, extra strings and case. The case has three locks and a hand grip, vinyl outside and cloth inside.

Whether you purchase an instrument on-line or in a neighborhood store, manufacturers recommend that you change the strings on your instrument as soon as you receive it. Your instrument has completed a long journey to your home. During this time the strings WILL oxidize and this may shorten their life expectancy and may reduce their sound quality. On occasion instruments may arrive with a broken string, therefore, it is recommended that you purchase a replacement set of strings and consider changing your strings as soon as it arrives.
